The Cryogenic System
The majority of the large industrial gas supply companies now supply their gas in its liquefied state, with the gas being turned back to a gas on site, when demand is generated. The liquefaction of gases is often referred to as "cryogenics".
The liquefied gas is stored in a dewar, which is designed to keep heat out of the vessel, whilst maintaining the cryogenic temperature inside the vessel
